Friends,
I love Cache Valley and I’m committed to serving the people who call it home. With 14 years of government finance and policy experience—including the last 3.5 years as your Chief Deputy County Executive—I bring the knowledge and conservative principles needed to lead with fiscal discipline, accountability, and transparency.
Beyond public service, I’m a husband of 28 years, father of six, grandfather of four, former educator, small business owner, and longtime youth coach, scout leader, and religious leader. My focus has always been on strengthening our community.
As County Executive, I will continue to protect taxpayer dollars, cut waste, and lead with honesty and respect. Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more united Cache County.

Cache County Executive
ABOUT
DIRK
I grew up in a small midwest town where my summers were spent working in the corn fields and playing baseball. My love of my religion brought me to Utah where I graduated with a Masters degree in Public Policy and married my sweetheart, Rory, almost 30 years ago.
Since then, my love of good government has taken me many places I never expected. I have worked for four different governors in three different states, worked in city government, been a professional educator, received a PhD in Leadership, and have most recently served as the Chief Deputy County Executive for Cache County over the past three and a half years.

An avid baseball fan, religious leader, youth leader, coach, small business owner, and public servant, my family has called Cache Valley home for 17 years.

Dirk Anderson is a seasoned government leader and finance professional with an extensive background in public service and a strong emphasis on conservative fiscal policy.
